If you’re new to pole dance, we suggest starting with our Pole Intro 101 (more dancy), Pole Fit 1 (more fitness), 4 weeks Pole Intro Series, Flexibility, and Pole Conditioning classes. If you have prior pole experience and can confidently execute inversions, we recommend starting with our Pole Fit 2 classes.
Wear comfortable workout attire that allows freedom of movement. Many students opt for shorts and a tank top or sports bra, as they provide better grip on the pole. Bare feet, socks or heels (optional) are suitable for most classes. Avoid wearing jewelry that could scratch the pole or get caught during movements. Also, don’t wear lotion for 3-24 hours (varies by skin type) prior to class.
Not at all! Our classes cater to individuals of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced. Our expert instructors will guide you through the basics and help you progress at your own pace.
You don’t need strength and flexibility up front. We provide conditioning and flexibility exercises in every class to prepare your body for aerial pole moves, building strength, stamina, and flexibility. In the gym, you work on isolated muscles, which are mostly not the ones you need for pole dancing. Most of the pole dance moves are more about technique than strength. Therefore, with the right technique and guidance of our instructors, there is no chance of failing.
We made it a point to create a very welcoming environment where there is no room for judgment. Instead, we celebrate every small step and victory, ensuring a safe and supportive space in our studios. You’ll be surrounded by people who share the same goals and aspirations. (No spectators to sit and judge you.) Moreover, we have a wide array of levels, and no matter your experience, you’ll be placed in the right class. So you’ll be surrounded with students of your level. For example, you can start with our Pole Intro Series. This is 4 classes in a row with the same group of people where you will learn basic climbs, pole sits, spins, and more in a structured and supportive environment. Our classes include conditioning exercises to help you develop the strength and flexibility needed for pole dancing.
We cater to all ages and levels – from kids to adults. Pole dancing is for all ages and fitness levels, focusing on strength, flexibility, and personal growth at any stage of life. Many of our students start later in life and thrive, we have successful dancers 60+. You will find that pole dancing enhances your strength, flexibility, and confidence, regardless of age.
We welcome students of all genders. Pole dancing is an inclusive and empowering art form for everyone. Our classes are open to all who are interested in learning and having fun.
Most of our classes are typically 60 minutes long, allowing time for warm-up exercises, skill instruction, practice, and cool-down stretches. Specialty classes or workshops may have extended durations.
Safety is our priority. If you have a medical condition or injury, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in any physical activity. Please inform our instructors of any pre-existing conditions or injuries to ensure appropriate modifications during the class.
We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. If you need to cancel your class reservation, please do so at least 8 hours in advance.
