Instagram
Vita is the founder and CEO of Catwoman Pole Academy in Boulder, CO and Charlotte, NC. She is a winner of Pole Sport Competition and member of US Aerial Federation. After she retired from her powerlifting career (she is former World Champion) , Vita was introduced to pole dancing and knew instantly that she had found her new passion. Now Vita helps people to express themselves, stay fit and reach new hights through the art of movement as pole dance. Vita believes that people have ability to learn everything they want with proper training, everyone can become an amazing pole dancer. When she’s not in the studio, you can find Vita out exploring, hiking, and soaking up nature, or just curled up with a good book.
Kelsey
Manager & Instructor
The first pole class Kelsey took was love at first dance. Kelsey teaches, choreographs, and has been in multiple performances and competitions. She is yoga certified, and has successfully completed a variety of workshops in the pole/aerial community. She will make you explore different parts of your body with the emotion of feeling. Pole dancing can be anything you want it to be, and Kelsey will help you explore how it speaks to your body and mind while getting in a great workout!

Melissa

Instructor

Melissa brings a soft-but-confident energy to the pole – flexy, teasing, and always aiming for buttery movement. She loves deep R&B vibes, blue tones, and a good chrome heel moment, and you’ll often catch her working toward a broken split with full belief that it will happen (even if it feels impossible at first).

Her classes are open, welcoming, and filled with playful cues and encouragement. Melissa believes that confidence grows through movement, patience, and trusting yourself – sometimes a little more than logic allows 😉

Mark
Instructor
Mark has been a student of yoga for the past ten years and had the opportunity to practice and learn alongside some of the best teachers in the yoga community. Yoga began for Mark at a fitness event at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado. The amphitheater was full of people, and most of them were smiling and happy and this was after an hour of yoga in the July heat. At this moment Mark thought, “I want that. I want to be smiling like that all day.”

Mark’s pole fitness journey began in 2020. He was invited to beginner pole class by a close friend, and from the first moment on the pole, he was hooked. Soon he was amazed by the effect pole fitness had on his body. He noticed quickly how his yoga practice helped him with pole. He also discovered that he loved pole pancing too. He earned his 200-hour yoga teaching certification from the Samudra School of Living Yoga in 2019. It is his yogic philosophy that yoga should be fun and empowering.
Dahlia
Instructor

Dahlia brings a bold, playful energy to the pole – sexy, slinky, and just a little savage. Known for her signature snake-down to the floor from a handstand crucifix, she combines strength with fluidity and makes even challenging movement feel approachable.

She loves all things purple, pink drinks, and dancing to Manchild on repeat. With a background in synchronized swimming, Dahlia has a deep understanding of body control, timing, and flow – and she brings that awareness into every class she teaches.

Her classes are fun, accessible, and welcoming, designed to meet you exactly where you are. Her message to students is simple and honest: you are perfect the way you are. Don’t wait to try something new – the time is now.

Keely

Instructor

Keely is strong, bubbly, and the ultimate pole mom – the kind of instructor who cheers you on, spots you when you need it, and reminds you that progress matters more than perfection. Her signature move is the butterfly (always the butterfly), and her classes are full of encouragement, laughter, and steady growth.

She brings bright pink energy, caring presence that makes students feel safe to try, fall, and try again. Off the pole, Keely loves being outdoors, hiking, and spotting beneficial herbs in the wild – a skill that mirrors how she teaches: attentive, supportive, and tuned in. When class is over, you’ll find her unwinding with family movie nights and a bowl of Muddy Buddies.

Her message to students is simple and real: we’re not chasing perfection – we’re celebrating progress.

Jessica Ivy

Instructor

Jessica Ivy is a lifelong lover of movement, dance, and all things creative. She began her pole journey in her hometown of New York City and has since taught in several states and countries. Jessica is also a visual artist, art therapist and clinical mental health counselor.

Jessica approaches all her work through a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens, with a strong emphasis on fun, empowerment, and community. She deeply believes in the power of play and she can’t wait to dance with you!

Pam

Instructor

Pam, known in the studio as Polaris, brings strength, focus, and determination to every class. Her signature move is the Superman, and her secret superpower is tenacity — the kind that reminds students that progress comes from staying curious and trying again. One of her favorite parts of teaching at Catwoman is watching people get hooked on pole and discover how strong they really are.

When she’s not in the studio, you’ll probably find her with an iced mocha, listening to “Catch These Fists” by Wet Leg, dreaming about a trip to Thailand, or enjoying some gummi worms. If she were an animal, she’d be a mountain lion — strong, graceful, and unstoppable. Her advice to students: follow your bliss.

Julia

Instructor

Julia brings playful energy and a love for movement to every class. Her favorite things on the pole are flips and splits, and her classes are designed to be fun, challenging, and accessible, with progressions so everyone can grow at their own pace. Around here, she’s known for pushing students just enough while keeping the vibe light and supportive.

Outside the studio, Julia’s happy place is in nature — hiking trails or swimming with turtles somewhere warm. Her current music mood is Alt-J and Lorde, her favorite drink is matcha, and if she were an animal she’d definitely be a turtle. Her secret superpower? She might procrastinate all day… but somehow everything gets done right before the deadline.

Lo

Instructor

Lo, known in the studio as Saturn, brings curiosity, creativity, and deep intention to every class. Her approach to pole often feels like solving a “body puzzle” — exploring shapes, transitions, and new ways to think about movement. Students know her classes can be challenging, but also thoughtful and inspiring. Watching people grow — not just in strength but in confidence and self-expression — is one of the things she treasures most about teaching at Catwoman.

Outside the studio, Lo loves discovering music (a true hobby for her), sipping flavored matcha — currently pistachio, and dreaming of tropical places like Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. Her pole personality is determined and curious, and her superpower is learning to feel deeply and navigate life through that intuition. After a long day, you’ll find her unwinding in a very hot bath with Epsom salt and bubbles. Her message to students: meet every version of yourself in this journey with love, trust, and grace — you are art, spirit expressing itself.

Rachel

Instructor

Rachel, known on stage as Lucina Skye, brings a playful and expressive energy to Catwoman as a Chair and fitness instructor. Her pole personality is theatrical, sassy, and a little silly, and that spirit shows up in her classes — where movement, creativity, and confidence all come together.

Her advice to students is simple and powerful: practice the basics and follow your creative visions.

Meg

Instructor

Meg got her start at Catwoman and was forever hooked. Outside of teaching like, she is also a seasoned performer and feels at home on a stage. Before pole she was a dancer in the freeform somatic movement and 5Rhythms for over a decade. Which has helped inform her own pole practice by tapping into embodied presence, individualized expression, and sensuality in motion. She also teaches privates lessons for her students.

Outside of teaching, she used her counseling background as Performance Coach and has a Women’s Mentorship program focused on building confidence and self-worth.
